Maker Mindset
Event branding, poster design
Maker Mindset is an initiative by AIGA Indy that offers creatives the opportunity to take a break from the digital world and engage in hands-on activities. The first iteration focused on letterpress and invited attendees to try their hand at creating various letterpress posters. The night culminated in an inspiring lecture from Louisville based letterpress designer, Brad Vetter.
I was asked to create a wordmark for the series itself as well as branding for this specific event. I utilized typefaces and design ornaments from the Hamilton Wood Type Collection, an organization dedicated to preserving wood type.
